In October 2003 European Legislation affecting the motor trade came into force allowing motorists to use any garage of their choice to service their cars without invalidating the manufacturer’s warranty. This basically means you are free to benefit from the competitive pricing and individual service offered by your local independent garage.

When looking for quotes on servicing or cam belt replacment, ask yourself does the price give you everything you need or just the least they can get away with?
Storm Developments are not alwaysthe 'cheapest' garage around, however, what you are getting for your money when compared to our competitors is infact better value. We include all these extra bits which are also prone to failure and need replacement at the same time.
- In addition to replacing the cambelt it is equally important to replace the tensioners, idle rollers and associated parts, as these are just as prone to wear and failure as the belt itself. The last thing you want to do is have the belt replaced then 1000 miles down the road have the tensioner sezie and snap the new belt.
- On most late VAG vehicles the cambelt also drives the water pump, which are prone to failing internally. Therefore, where applicable we always quote including a replacement water pump.
- Auxiliary drive belts do not have a specific replacement interval so are check and if required, replaced at the same time as the cambelt.
- All cambelt parts used are genuine Volkswagen & Audi Group parts.
