Immobiliser Defeat

This service is design for enthusiasts who are transplanting an engine complete with wiring and ECU, or for swapping ECUs after a failure.

Modern factory ECUs come equipped with an advanced engine immobiliser function in order to deter theft of the vehicle. These immobiliser functions have to be defeated in order to successfully transplant a modern engine into another vehicle or to swap ECUs from one car to another.

De-Cat (removing catalytic convertor)

Removing the catalytic convertor is a popular modification that on many cars releases power, enhances exhaust sound and may even improve economy. This cost effective modification does on some cars cause the engine light to come on and worse the car may go into limp mode.

Will the Check Engine Light come on?

On many models removing the catalytic convert will cause the check engine light to come on permantly. For many vehicles we can remap the ECU to allow cars with no catalytic converts to run without the check engine light coming on. The check engine light will show all other normal issues with the engine.

Speed Limiter Removal

Many cars are limited to 155mph by a lose agreement between the manufactures. The maximum speed is limited by the ECU.

For many cars we can raise or remove the speed limit with a Re-Map.

Remapping

All modern cars can be improved by adjusting the settings in the onboard computer
