G-Lader Repairs

 

 

The G-Lader supercharger is a very reliable unit if maintained in the correct service intervals, Volkswagen don’t refurbish superchargers but simply used to replace them.

Thankfully all internal parts are available to re-service your original units at a reasonable price and up-rated parts to improve on reliability.

 

We recommend a charger rebuild every 40,000 miles with a 68mm pulley fitted also we replace the original 6mm pulley belt with an uprated 11mm gates wider, stronger belt.

 

All our charger rebuilds are guaranteed for 6 months and are available in several stages

 

SD Rebuild SD2 (standard)

A stage 2 service is mainly designed for customers who are running standard a VW pulley; it consists of changing oil seals, uprated apex seals, the casing being cleaned, Teflon coated internals and a gates wide 11mm belt.

 

SD Stage SD4 Upgrade

As above flowed and ported using precision tools.

G-Lader Tuning

We offer many stages of tuning; please call for custom work.

We recommend the fitting of an oil cooler before any tuning work is carried out along with the checking of all sensors on the engine. Any tuning on an engine that is not 100% to start with could shorten the life of the engine.


Stage 1-

Chip, 68mm pulley, 3 bar regulator, shorter serpentine belt.
 

Stage 2-

Chip, 68/65mm pulley, 3 bar regulator, short serpentine belt, red top injectors.

As an alternative, why not consider a Rotrex Supercharger Upgrade, removing unreliability and expensive servicing/rebuild costs and increases performance dramatically?
